They certainly knew how to travel in style back in the 1950’s and this rubber hook system is one of the best ideas I’ve ever seen for storing bikes. I thought it was so good, I made myself one for my shed a few years back!
After a bit of digging I’ve finally unearthed where I first saw this idea, which was featured in a short film, produced by British Transport Films, about travelling around Britain by bicycle – with the help of the odd train.
