How To Remove Ellipsis (…) after post excerpt in Headway 3

Before 3.2, you needed a child theme to remove the ellipsis after post excerpts if you wanted to remove them. However, since 3.2, the Ellipsis are inside a span which allows you to easily remove them!

Therefore, to remove them, add this code to your Live CSS Editor:

span.more-link-ellipsis {display: none;}

If you wanted to remove them only from certain posts, you’d need to target the post…

div.post-33 span.more-link-ellipsis {display: none;}

Where 33 is the ID number of the post you are targeting.

If you want to remove them from a certain block, you need to target that block…

div#block-3 span.more-link-ellipsis {display: none;}
